4TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY HOT ROD ROUND UP
                    NOVEMBER 1, 2025

The Alleghany Cruisers hosted the 4th Annual Holiday Hot Rod Round Up Saturday November 1, 2025 at the Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington VA. In the four short years that the Alleghany Cruisers have been in existence we have to say that this event stands as one of our most memorable. It was a beautiful day for this time of year, the chilly morning gave way to delightful sunshine. We were thankful for that as this event benefits a truly wonderful cause, the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program which benefits area children in need during the Christmas season. A total of 70 show vehicles were in attendance as was a large number of people from our community. There are so many people to thank. First of all, we have to thank our many sponsors, without your support an event like this would not be possible. So many local businesses and individuals stepped up to help, both financially and with items for our raffle and door prizes. We, as a club, are truly thankful for the support that we get from our area businesses and organizations. We also owe a huge thanks to the City of Covington Department of Parks and Recreation. Our city manager Allen Dressler and the director of the Parks and Recreation Department Lisa Worley and all of those that work under them do a superb job and have been amazingly supportive of our events. We also want to thank Mountain Rush, Good News Fellowship Church, and of course the Salvation Army for providing so many wonderful activities for the kids. We definitely need to thank Santa Claus and the Grinch for making today so special for so many people. We want to thank all of our vendors with a special shout out to Shannon Rose and Whisper & Willows for holding a raffle and donating half of the proceeds to the Angel Tree Program. We also want to thank JKK Concessions, Love All BBQ, and Flurries Inc for providing excellent food service for the event. Of course, it just wouldn’t be a complete local car event if it weren’t for Eugene “The Lone Wolf” Windsor providing D.J. services, Eugene did his usual amazing job spinning the tunes and adding some Christmas cheer to the event. We want to thank the Alleghany Journal, WDBJ 7, Big Country 103.5, the Highland Recorder, and the Virginian Review for providing excellent media coverage of this event. We also want to thank each and everyone of our entrants, some of you came from quite some distance and we cannot tell you how much we appreciate each of you deciding to spend the day with us. Lastly, we want to thank everyone in the community that came out and attended and supported the 4th Annual Holiday Hot Rod Round Up, we appreciate you more than you will ever know. It was a truly amazing day with an amazing atmosphere. The Alleghany Cruisers love our community and we will always put our community first. We cannot thank everyone enough for their amazing support.
