BACK THE BLUE SCHOLARSHIP CAR SHOW

The Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show was originally conceived by Alleghany Cruisers founding members Robert Floyd and Chris Tingler in 2020. The event was launched with two main goals. First, to raise money for the Back The Blue Scholarship, which is intended for area high school students wishing to further their education in the criminal justice field. Second, to honor and pay tribute to our under appreciated, hardworking law enforcement officers and to give both them and the public a chance to interact in a fun, and educational atmosphere. The first Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show was held at Cucci's Pizzeria in Covington and was a tremendous success. For 2021 the event moved to the Jackson River Sports Complex and effectively doubled in size. In 2022, now as an official Alleghany Cruisers event, the show grew to over 100 show vehicles. The Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show features cars of all types, food and merchandise vendors, law enforcement displays and demonstrations, a Live D.J, and a FREE Saturday night concert at the River Rock Amphitheater. Work is already underway for the 6th Annual Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show. Stay tuned.

BACK THE BLUE WEEKEND

BACK THE BLUE EVE CONCERT AND CRUISE IN FRIDAY JUNE 20, 2025

The Back the Blue Eve Concert and Cruise In will take place Friday June 20, 2025 at the Jackson River Sports Complex and the River Rock Amphitheater. This years event will feature THE GRAB BAG BAND. Fronted by local legends Jeff Dudley and Jeff Craft this fun loving band is ready to put on a show that you will not forget. THE GRAB BAG BAND performs a great mix of music that is sure to please everyone. The concert will be held from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and is FREE to the public. You will also want to bring your ride down for our Pre Back the Blue Cruise In held adjacent to the River Rock Amphitheater. This FREE event is open to all types of vehicles. The Cruise In will run from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Food service will be provided by JKK Concessions and Flurries Inc.. You don't want to miss the PRE SHOW before the BIG SHOW on Saturday. The 6th Annual Back the Blue Scholarship Car Show will be held June 21, 2025 at the Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington VA. The public hours will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with registration opening at 8:00 am. This event is open to all types of vehicles and registration is just $10.00. In addition to the many show cars this event will feature law enforcement displays and demonstration, food, merchandise, and informational vendors, a live D.J., a 50/50 drawing, cash drawings, kids activities, a model car show, door prizes, raffles, and much, much more. The Back the Blue Scholarship Car Show is one of the fastest growing car shows in the region. Last years event featured entries from all over the region. Come be a part of this great event.

THE BACK THE BLUE BASH
SATURDAY JUNE 21, 2025

The Back the Blue Bash will take place Saturday June 21, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. This event will feature a FREE concert from ROCK BOTTOM BRIDGE. This high energy band is fronted by Covington native Jeff Craft and always provides a crowd pleasing performance. In addition to the concert there will be giveaways, a gun raffle, a 50/50, and food service. We are looking forward to a fun evening with ROCK BOTTOM BRIDGE.
