The Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show was originally conceived by Alleghany Cruisers founding members Robert Floyd and Chris Tingler in 2020.  The event was launched with two main goals.  First, to raise money for the Back The Blue Scholarship, which is intended for area high school students wishing to further their education in the criminal justice field.  Second, to honor and pay tribute to our under appreciated, hardworking law enforcement officers and to give both them and the public a chance to interact in a fun, and educational atmosphere.  The first Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show was held at Cucci's Pizzeria in Covington and was a tremendous success.  For 2021 the event moved to the Jackson River Sports Complex and effectively doubled in size.  In 2022, now as an official Alleghany Cruisers event, the show grew to over 100 show vehicles. The Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show features cars of all types, food and merchandise vendors, law enforcement displays and demonstrations, a Live D.J, and a FREE Saturday night concert at the River Rock Amphitheater.  Work is already underway for the 8th Annual Back The Blue Scholarship Car Show.  Stay tuned.
